David Rose’s presentation at the UKCoD [UK Council on Deafness] Conference on Nov 3rd, 2010 and Beyond: Communication Services For Deaf People.
The conference theme was focused on looking at the need for modernising current telecom relay services for deaf people. It will explore the current state of play in broadcasting and telecommunications for deaf and hard of hearing people. It will also be an opportunity to examine future developments such as voice recognition, remote interpreting and speech to text services which could be of benefit to deaf consumers.
